For seafarer applications we collect identity and contact details, sea-service history, and copies of documents such as passports, seaman's books, competency certificates and medical records. For principals and enquiries we collect the contact details you provide.
2. How we use your data
We use your data solely to assess applications, match crew to vessels, comply with flag-state and principal requirements, process documentation and payroll, and respond to your enquiries. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Security
Sensitive documents are transferred and stored using SSL/TLS encryption and access controls. Only authorised crewing staff can access applicant records, and we apply the principle of least privilege across our systems.
4. Sharing with principals
With your consent, relevant profile information and certificates are shared with the specific principal considering you for a position. We share only what is necessary for the recruitment and deployment process.
5. Data retention
We retain applicant data for as long as needed to manage your candidacy and meet legal, flag-state and principal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time.
